Artistic Etchings Eiffel Tower...

I like the Eiffel Tower. I like Paris. It's a gorgeous city.

This card is Very Vanilla and Basic Black. I sponged around the top layer as well as the Newsprint layer, and added a piece of Basic Black card stock that'd been punched with the Eyelet Border Punch.

The two jumbo brads were smooshed into my Jet Black StazOn pad (keeping with the black and vanilla palette), and a photo corner added from that punch (with dimensionals).

The "just for you" is from Teeny, Tiny Wishes.

Artistic Etchings in Newsprint...

I love, love, love the new Newsprint designer paper available in the new catalog. There are gorgeous designs in black and white that will make any of your projects "pop."

For this Whisper White card, I used a 3" x 3" piece of Newsprint, a 5/8" Basic Black grosgrain knot, and the round stamp from Artistic Etchings punched with the Scallop Circle with a jumbo eyelet in the center.

"I'm here for you..." is from a new Level 3 hostess set called Occasional Quotes.

Apple Blossoms on Greenhouse Gala paper...

Some of the new designer paper coming out July 1 is so pretty it deserves to be front and center.

The paper is from the Greenhouse Gala pack, and the sentiment is from a Level 2 hostess set called Apple Blossoms.

Behind the designer paper is a new In Color called Cherry Cobbler. There's so much fun stuff to play with in the new catalog!

If you'd like to get one, email me at ericandterry@comcast.net or call me.

Herb Expressions embossed card...

This swap features the Herb Expressions stamp set with a sentiment from Sincere Salutations.

The card base is Old Olive that's been run through a texture plate in the Big Shot. Then there's a layer of Close to Cocoa on top of that with a small chocolate epoxy brad that was in the last mini catalog.

The top layer has been pierced as well as distressed.

Happy Grad and Watercolor Trio card...

I'm a little behind the ball in posting this Happy Grad card. It was a swap by Cheryl at a recent American Ink meeting.

The card is Bermuda Bay, as is the polka-dot ribbon (retiring June 30!). This card has texture (Polka Dot embossing folder, small punched stars adhered with dimensionals), an Eyelet Border Punch, and Watercolor Trio flowers stamped in Bermuda Bay ink on the card front and the top layer.

Pun Fun embossed Top Note...

Still don't own a Big Shot? You should!

The Top Note die is so great to use on cards, scrapbook pages, with fabric and more! This one was also put through the Big Shot inside the Polka Dot embossing folder.

This cat is from Pun Fun.

Square lattice embossed Motorcycle card...

One of my downline, Sherry, comes up with some great combinations, such as the elements on this Motorcycle make & take.

This card features Crushed Curry, Basic Gray and Basic Black card stocks. The Square Lattice Embossing Folder (in the Summer Mini) adds terrific texture to this card.

I love the smaller cogs (from that punch), as well as the Word Window and Modern Label punches.

All Holidays man card...

Pearl created this make & take for our American Ink group. It's always nice having a man card option - we all need those!

This uses the All Holidays sentiment and several layers. I think it's a nice touch to insert the jumbo eyelet in the 5/8" grosgrain ribbon.

Printed Petals happy card...

Kim created this pretty Printed Petals swap card.

We received the stamp set (found in the new catalog!) during our incentive trip to the Southern Caribbean in late April/early May.

Kim started with a Kraft card base, stamping the 6-petal flower for a background.

She used the Rock & Roll Technique for the big flower and added a Build-a-Brad to the middle.

The new Clear Rectangle Sizzlit was used for the sentiment, which is from a new Level 2 hostess set called Apple Blossoms.

Sponged Flutter card...

I made this Flutter card for a recent demonstrator swap.

I stamped the butterfly in Basic Black ink on glossy white card stock, then sponged on Apricot Appeal, Not Quite Navy and Almost Amethyst inks.

It's hard to see the Dazzling Diamonds glitter on the body of each butterfly, but it really adds to it, as does the Not Quite Navy oval scallop with the jumbo silver brad.

The sentiment is from the In A Word stamp set (Summer Mini).

Tropical Party and Island Oasis paper...

I love the Crystal Effects on the coconut drink on this card, which was a swap at our demo meeting. It adds that thick, shiny layer nobody can resist touching!

Foliage from the Tropical Party stamp set was stamped on the Old Olive layer, then the umbrella paper from the Island Oasis pack was layered on Tempting Turquoise and placed over that.

The top layer was stamped, colored with markers, and watercolored.

I know my dad would love getting a card like this! (He loves receiving cards anytime!)

Vintage Wallpaper meets Because I Care...

The peek at upcoming new catalog products - the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and the hostess set Because I Care - got my club members eager for July 1.

This Pretty in Pink card has another layer that's been run through the Big Shot with the new embossing folder and adhered with dimensionals after knotting white organza around it.

We used the Pretty in Pink pad to ink up the hydrangea, then an Old Olive marker for the stem and leaves. The Ticket Corner Punch notched out the corners of the Whisper White and Old Olive layers. Those were also adhered with dimensionals to the front of the card after adding the sentiment (punched with the Curly Label Punch).

This card was CASE'd from Ruth Norton.

Star punches and Inspired by Nature recent CASE cards...

Just like you, I'll surf some blogs looking for stamping inspiration. Unfortunately with these three cards, I lost the original creators' names... so if one of these is yours, please let me know and I'll give you credit.
This first card is Very Vanilla with a variety of punched stars in Crushed Curry, Chocolate Chip, Only Orange and Ballet Blue card stocks. We wrapped the gold cord around the card front three times before knotting it.

These cards were both featured at my recent Man Card Stamp-a-Stack. The star card is easy to change for any male relative using the Wonderful Favorites stamp set.

This Soft Suede card uses the Inspired by Nature stamp set, with a dragonfly from Nature's Nest. We stamped the dragonfly on the card and on a piece of vellum, then just cut out and adhered the vellum wings with Mini Glue Dots.

Voila easel card...

My club members enjoyed making this easel card using the Voila stamp set, which is retiring at the end of the month.

We did paper piecing with Pawsitively Prints designer paper - stamping the chef on the paper, as well as the Very Vanilla square.

We used markers, along with an aqua painter and Not Quite Navy pad, to color in the images.

It's a fun card to make!

Kim's Because I Care swap...

Kim was an over-achiever at our most recent demonstrator gathering, stamping two swaps!

This one uses the new Because I Care Level 1 hostess set (when the new catalog debuts July 1).

Kim used the Cutter Kit to distress the top two layers, and added more texture with the embossing folder on the card base.

The sentiment was punched using the oval scallop punch, sponged, and adhered to the card with dimensionals.

Pearl's Fourth of July card...

The Fourth of July is a favorite around here - lots of fireworks, neighbors, and potluck food!

Pearl created this patriotic swap for our recent demo meeting. It uses the July Fourth stamp set in the Summer Mini.

Dazzling Diamonds glitter was added to the red star (popped up with dimensionals), as well as the numeral 4.

Brandy's Bitty Box make & take...

Brandy brought this Chocolate Chip Bitty Box (a die for the Big Shot) as a make & take to our demo meeting.

We used a 1-1/4" circle punch to make the window (easiest done before assembling the box!), then adhered a window sheet over the opening. We used SNAIL on the top of the words and stuck it to the underside of the window.

The flowers are from the Boho Blossoms punch. We punched a couple out of Old Olive card stock and adhered those to the box lid, then punched more flowers out of Razzleberry Lemonade paper, adding a brad to hold them together.

A strip of Tall Tales dsp is wrapped around the box with a knot of 1/4" grosgrain over that.

Best of all? Inside there are two chocolate Hershey's squares. Yum!

Bea's Herb Expressions make & take...

Bea brought this glittery make & take to our demo gathering Saturday.

It's a Barely Banana card with the En Francais background in coordinating ink.

The main stamp image is from Herb Expressions. Once it was colored in, we added Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

Paula's Animal Stories swap...

Paula brought this card as a make & take to our American Ink demo gathering yesterday at my studio.

It's a Whisper White card with Bravo Burgundy and Cameo Coral (retiring at the end of this month).

The giraffe is from the Animal Stories stamp set. We used the 1-1/4" punch for the circles, adhering them with SNAIL.
The sentiment is from the retiring stamp set Way To Go.

If you'd like to order any retiring items, please visit my website and click on SHOP. Thanks!

Frankie's Because I Care swap...

As Stampin' Up! demonstrators, we can receive this new Level 1 hostess set called Because I Care free when pre-ordering new colors this month. What a deal!

Frankie created this beautiful Pink Pirouette card (an old In Color coming back as a core color). The Whisper White taffeta ribbon and Scallop Trim Border punch add to the softness.

Paula's Three Little Words swap...

We had so much fun yesterday at our demo meeting that Paula literally fell out of her chair! She's a lot of fun. Check out this cool card with the Three Little Words stamp set.

Paula said she got the magnifying glass at the Dollar Store. It's a Whisper White card with 1/4" Basic Black grosgrain, layers of card stock and then that cute little magnifying glass.

Friends Never Fade and Greenhouse Gala dsp...

It took hours to organize my retiring stamps and rearrange those that are sticking around. THEN I could start playing with the stamps - such as this Friends Never Fade set - I pre-ordered from the new catalog (you'll get it July 1).

If you haven't heard, Baja Breeze is coming back as part of a color collection. And this Greenhouse Gala paper is gorgeous. I particular like this color combination.

When I stamped the sentiment, the brown wasn't as deep as what you see on the paper, so after I colored the flower, I covered the entire layer with VersaMark and then clear embossed it. That helped a lot, and made it glossy to boot! The sentiment is adhered with dimensionals.

Vintage Vogue and Great Friend swap...

I believe this is Brandy's swap. It uses the Vintage Vogue stamp set, along with Great Friend and some Vanilla Hodgepodge and white organza ribbon.

Motorcycle Father's Day card...

My Man Card Stamp-a-Stack was a lot of fun last night, and not just because Kim brought a cake.

It had been awhile since I'd seen some of the ladies and there was just good mojo.

I had to use the Motorcycle stamp for one of the projects last night. We used a Sage Shadow marker to add color to it.

Another new Summer Mini item - the Extra-Large Cogs Double Punch - was used with Basic Gray card stock. And the sentiment was from the King of the Grill set.

Man shirt card...

This shirt card was just fun to make. I used the instructions from Amy Celona's blog to prep this card for my Man Card Stamp-a-Stack last night.

It uses a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" piece of Old Olive card stock, along with some Island Oasis for the tie and tie knot.

I added a sentiment from the FYI stamp set and punched it out with the large oval punch.

What I forgot - I took this photo before adding two gold brads on the points of the collar. Try this - it's fun!

Jumbo builder wheel birthday greetings...

Though there are only two layers to this Tempting Turquoise card, several things are going on.

The front of the card was put through the Polka Dots embossing folder for the Big Shot.

The 2" x 5-1/2" Whisper White strip was wheeled with the Candle Crazy and Birthday builder wheels (with a spacer in the middle). We just rolled the wheels over a Basic Gray pad.

We used markers to color in the candles - Real Red, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery and So Saffron. And to finish the card, we knotted Real Red satin ribbon over the middle "blank" space.

I CASE'd this card from http://www.SoShelli.com.

Josh's Go Graduate card...

I played around with this graduation card for my friend's son, Josh.

The feet were stamped in a White Craft Pad on the Basic Black layer, then embossed using Irridescent Ice for a little glitz.

I used a bone folder and my paper trimmer to score the grid lines on the brushed silver layer to add texture.

Finally, I added three stamped and colored circles layered on black and adhered with dimensionals. I don't think I can stamp this owl without adding googly eyes!

Le Jardin Botanique card...

Kim created this earthy card using Le Jardin Botanique stamp set, which will retire at the end of June.

The card base and ink is Handsome Hunter, which is also retiring, along with all of the corduroy buttons.

You may order all of the items used to make this card (and any other on this blog) via our websites - http://TheRubberRoom.stampinup.net and http://kbstamps.stampinup.net.

Have a wonderful weekend!
